Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using techfluent.co.uk and any courses, content, or services offered by TECHFLUENT LTD.

By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • “Services” means our website, online courses, downloadable resources, and any related content or community features
  • “Content” means all videos, text, graphics, templates, and materials provided through our Services
  • “Account” means your registered user account on our platform
  • “You” and “User” refer to individuals accessing our Services

3. Account Registration

To access courses, you must create an account with accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


4. Purchases and Payment

Pricing: All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

Access: Upon successful payment, you will receive immediate access to purchased content via email and your account dashboard.

Subscriptions: If you purchase a subscription:

  • You authorise recurring charges at the stated interval
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your paid period
  • We may change subscription pricing with 30 days’ notice

5. Digital Content and Your Cancellation Rights

Important Notice for UK Consumers:

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase.

However, for digital content (online courses):

By checking the consent boxes during checkout, you:

  1. Request immediate access to the digital content
  2. Acknowledge that you lose your 14-day cancellation right once you begin accessing the content

If you do not check these boxes, you retain your 14-day cancellation right, but access to the course will be delayed until the cancellation period expires.


6. Refund Policy

For One-Time Course Purchases:

We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied after completing the first three modules of a course, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing info@techfluent.co.uk.

Refund requests must include:

  • Your order number
  • Brief reason for the refund (helps us improve)

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

For Subscriptions:

  • 7-day free trial (where offered): Cancel within 7 days to avoid charges
  • After trial or first payment: No partial refunds for unused subscription periods
  • Cancel anytime to prevent future charges

For Free Products:

No refund applicable as no payment was made.


7. Licence to Use Content

Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

  • Access and view the purchased course content for personal, non-commercial use
  • Download and keep any resources explicitly marked as downloadable

You may not:

  • Share, distribute, or resell course content
  • Record, copy, or reproduce videos
  • Use content for commercial training without written permission
  • Share your login credentials with others

Violation of these terms may result in account termination without refund.


8. Intellectual Property

All Content, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, logos, templates, and course materials, is the property of TECHFLUENT LTD and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

The TechFluent name and logo are trademarks of TECHFLUENT LTD.


9. User Conduct

When using our Services, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download content
  • Post misleading, false, or defamatory content

10. Disclaimer

Our courses provide educational content and guidance for using Microsoft 365 software.

We do not guarantee:

  • Specific results or outcomes from applying the techniques taught
  • Compatibility with all software versions or configurations
  • That content will be error-free or uninterrupted

Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, and related trademarks are the property of Microsoft Corporation. TechFluent is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Service
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TECHFLUENT LTD from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our Services.


13. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites.


14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
